Deep Cleaning — what it is and what you get
Deep cleaning targets the details a weekly routine never reaches: grout and limescale, inside cabinets, skirting boards and door frames, behind radiators, and the insides of appliances.
It typically takes about 1.5 times as long as a standard clean. We recommend it at the turn of the seasons, after long holidays, and before selling or renting out a home.
Deep cleaning takes experience: the wrong chemical can permanently damage natural stone, wood or stainless steel. If your home has such a surface, noting it in your booking note removes the risk — surfaces listed in the note are treated with the appropriate product and technique.

Supplies and equipment

A deep clean covers the corners and seasonal grime a routine clean skips. It takes longer and is far more thorough.

I have delicate surfaces — will they be damaged?
Natural stone, wood and stainless steel take permanent marks from the wrong product, and there is no undoing it. The way to prevent that is to name the surface in your booking note; surfaces listed there are treated with the appropriate product and technique. There is no profile badge or filter for surface specialisation — but you can pick the cleaner yourself when you book.
Are the insides of appliances cleaned?
Yes — inside the oven, the extractor hood filter and inside the fridge are all part of a deep clean.
Do you bring the supplies?
If you prefer, the cleaner brings all professional supplies (small extra fee); otherwise your own products are used.
